Carpet Beetle

Carpet beetles, as their name implies, sometimes infest carpets. Similar to clothes moths, the pests also feed on an array of clothing, which can certainly cause an issue within a household, or some businesses.

In springtime, they often appear on windowsills, suggesting an infestation may be present inside the home. Female beetles lay about 50-100 eggs on or near vulnerable materials.

They are incredibly small, which makes it hard to ensure that you have caught them all, if you take a DIY approach to getting rid of them. The best option, if you are unsure about a pest, is always to get professional advice.
